This is really helpful! What sections do you recommend for an evaluative/exploratory research by a beginner? I naturally don't have a lot of data to work with and want to share my portfolio with a recruiter for my first uxr job. I did looking into your beginner's guide on the kind of projects I could do which was really helpful too

Do you need to have studied to do RUX? I mean that RUX is a scientific work, and you learn scientific work at the UNI. For example, to do surveys and interviews effectively. I think there are also differences between bachelor scientific work and UX/UI design scientific work. I can't say, I haven't studied.

I am halfway through my Master's in Applied Psychology with a UX focus. Thus far I have completed a survey research, program evaluation, and advanced study design and statistics, but nothing directly related to UX research. What questions should I be asking of my advisor regarding my intended career path? I would like to perform research on role playing game systems.

Hi Aona, your videos are really helpful. I was curious to ask a question regarding the mindmap you explained at 5:20. Would you be able to showcase or comment here, how you categorized all the different research methods under the 3 sections: Qual vs Quant / Stages: Generative, Iterative, Evaluative / Attitudinal vs Behavioral. I'd like to compare what I have to yours to see if I got it right Thank you, it's much appreciated!!

Thanks so much! I found this video to be very concise, to the point, just enough to give one a great overview. One question though: in the peanut butter survey example, the statement goes: "... we are 95% certain that 52% + - 4% (upper bound of confidence interval is 56%; lower bound is 48%)..." Why goes up and down for one interval?
